Samsung Galaxy S i9000 , soft brick , memory error solution

Hi Guys, after take some time for a while now i'd like to give you some tutorial based on my experience. About Samsung Galaxy S i9000 on soft brick and memory solution

==>
Okay, a week ago my friend said to me that his phone was softly bricked. Don't know why it's happening but it's just happen and i tried to find it out.

First, I turn it on , and it did bootloop .
Before you do all of this, you have to know that your all data will be deleted. Because you have to flash it into official firmware.

If your i9000 had this problem. You have to download all of these:
- ODIN
- Official Firmware, find it on samfirware.com or look out on xda
- USB Data Cable
- Patience
- Hot coffee
- Pray

1. Softbrick solution

Okay, now you are ready to flash you mobile phone by yourself, without any money out.

STEP 1
- Remove the battery
- Press Home button + vol up + off button , it will start a download mode
- Put in the USB Cable to the computer , and then open ODIN, make sure that COM: is turn on to yellow .
- Then choose PDA , and choose the firmware you've been download .
- Click start and wait until the device reboot by itself

Now, you may find some error . when it turn to recovery mode, you'll find error on mmcblk0pand it still do a bootloop.
And below is the way to fix it .

STEP2
- Remove the SD card, put it to your computer
- Format it , and make 2 partition , one is FAT32, and another is ReiserFS .
You have to use 7tools partition on Windows . You may not find ReiserFS feature on another partition tool on windows. Or if you are expert on Linux, you may do the partition with a Linux
- Now, put in SD Card to the device and do the STEP1
- If you find the same error, but this time on the dbdata, now you have to download dbdata.rfs , find it on xda.
- Do as the same as STEP1, but when you press PDA, choose the dbdata.rfs
- Now i can guarantee that the device is working properly

STEP3
When everything is going well, now the SDCard is the problem.
The phone read the SD Card on Settings- Storage , but we are unable to use camera and gallery , it says : No SD card inserted .
And the only way to fix it is change the vold.fstab . I will upload it on here soon .
And we have to change the permission too , i'll explain it on the next post .

And, voila ,. You have your i9000 fixed right now .

Okay man, i'm sorry for the very long post but at least it will help you a little bit .
I'll upload the required files soon , including the screenshot .

Thank you, Cheers
